BOSTON YOGA SCHOOL: 200 HOUR TEACHER TRAINING
September 2021 - January 2022
Directed by Ame Wren & Ben Chused
Supported by: Sara Basile & Matt Vedder
Boston Yoga School is offering a 200 hour Teacher Training beginning in Fall 2021 with both in-person and online options!
This training begins with the intention of being an intimate, dedicated and resourceful program. In addition to the many hours you will spend with me and Ame, this training also offers an opportunity to study with many of Boston (and beyond’s) finest teachers in a small setting. There will be ample practice time, outside study and mentorship, and abundant practice teaching. Expect to learn and grow a lot. This program will give you the tools to offer a well-informed yoga class to any student regardless of their background while also deepening your understanding of personal practice, on and off the mat.
Training can be taken in-person or livestream. In addition to the hours we spend together, there will be homework and a study pod commitment (one meeting/month). We hope that by crafting our time together as a live experience, we will create a community.
To graduate, students must showcase their completion and understanding of the material covered in the training. This is done by completing all hours and outside assignments as well as passing a final exam. Graduation is not guaranteed. This training is registered with Yoga Alliance and exceeds the YA requirements for a 200-hour yoga teacher training.
For in-person trainings, there is always the option to be online. All trainings are equipped to be virtual should the need arise.
